Our first trip to Minnesota north shore without any planning done. Each morning, we revisited a few nearby attractions although we did not do any real hikes this time. Spent half of everyday reading books by the lake and taking afternoon naps.

Aerial Lift Bridge. There are three dots below the moon in the sky, forming a triangle. The dot right below of the moon is Saturn. The left dot is Mars. The bottom dot is the ruddy star Antares, the brightest star in the fishhook-shaped pattern of stars known as the constellation Scorpius the Scorpion.
Minnesota North Shore
Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world.
Middle Falls in Gooseberry Falls State Park.
The iconic Split Rock Lighthouse.
